Physical well-being is about forming healthy habits that suit your lifestyle and level of mobility and fitness; it’s not merely the absence of illness. Some aspects of physical wellness include physical activity, sexual health, or nutrition and access to healthy food.

Fitness Classes
Campus Recreation is currently offering the following Group Fitness Classes (free to all MU students, faculty, and staff) that meet in the Nimocks Fitness Center weekly except during holidays and final exams. Check our Events Calendar for a list of currently scheduled Group Fitness Classes.
Fitness Facilities
In addition to the Riddle Center and Nimocks Fitness Center, MU boasts the following outdoor fitness spaces:
- Coach Sink Field, located south of North Hall (free use/intramural sports)
- Outdoor Basketball Courts, located between the West/Pearce Hall and Riddle/Berns parking lots (free use)
- Sand Volleyball Court, located behind the Riddle Center (free use)
- Fannie Farmer Park, located adjacent to the Outdoor Basketball Courts (free use exercise stations and obstacle course)
