Reinforcing its strong ties with the military and local community, Methodist University is hosting the renowned U.S. Air Force Heritage Brass Band on Feb. 21 at the Huff Concert Hall on the MU campus. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Reinforcing its strong ties with the military and local community, Methodist University is hosting the renowned U.S. Air Force Heritage Brass Band on Feb. 21 at the Huff Concert Hall on the MU campus. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

“The members of Heritage Brass are thrilled to bring the power and precision of our music to Methodist University,” said Technical Sergeant Melissa Lackore, vocalist and Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the USAF Heritage Brass. “We consider it a privilege to share our passion for performance with the Fayetteville community, honoring our nation’s heritage and inspiring future generations through the universal language of music.”

The Heritage Brass features the diverse talents of professional musicians whose commitment to excellence has earned worldwide acclaim and military distinction. Their modern and innovative approach to the brass ensemble delivers a musical story fueled by energy and grounded in patriotic spirit.

The program will feature works by American composers, highlighting a diverse range of genres and styles, including traditional chamber music, TV and movie scores, jazz, and pop, all while honoring our nation’s veterans and their supporting communities.
