It’s almost that time. The air is cooling down and the leaves are turning, which means one thing – MU’s Homecoming Week (Oct. 23-29) is on the horizon.

It’s almost that time. The air is cooling down and the leaves are turning, which means one thing – MU’s Homecoming Week (Oct. 23-29) is on the horizon.

While the eyes of Methodist University alumni are set on Homecoming Weekend (Oct. 27-29) – which includes campus tours, the Athletic Hall of Fame event, the Alumni Awards Ceremony, Alumni tailgating and much more – MU also offers a wide range of activities and events directed more towards students the days leading up to one of the biggest weekends of the year.

“Homecoming Week is one of the main times of the year we come together to celebrate who we have been, are, and will be at Methodist University,” said junior Rebekah Haigler, a Biology major who is also the Student Government Association president. “Students have many activities to look forward to that are held by various organizations, including food, celebration, and athletic events.”

Various Homecoming Week events are returning, such as Homecoming Court voting, CIRCUIT family lunch, Hoopla, Trunk or Treat, and the Homecoming bonfire.

Below is a comprehensive list of this year’s Homecoming Week events that are more student centric. As always, the best place to stay up to date with all events, including Homecoming Week events, is the MU Events Calendar. For questions, contact Aly Magras, director of Campus Engagement, at amagras@methodist.edu.
