From Oct. 15-19, Methodist University is offering a wide range of Homecoming Week activities and events directed more towards students as it heads into one of the biggest weekends of the year that features even more for alumni.

Students attend the Homecoming Football gameFor more information about the events set for alumni and friends during Homecoming Weekend (Oct. 18-20), visit the MU Homecoming page. Also be sure to check out methodist.edu and MU social media for event coverage and photos early next week.

“I’m excited about Homecoming this year because it’s a fantastic opportunity for us to come together as a community and celebrate our Monarch pride,” said junior Rebekah Haigler, a Biology major who is also the Student Government Association president. “It’s not just about the events and activities; it’s about reconnecting with friends, making new memories, and honoring our University’s traditions. I encourage all students, alumni, and community members to join the festivities and show your spirit for Methodist University!”

Various Homecoming Week events are returning, such as the bake sales, food “bar” hopping event, and the Homecoming Bonfire with plenty of new events like the cookout, rally towel making, cowbell painting, green and gold party, and more.
