Bio:
Rebecca King is the Director of Academic Support. In the Writing & Tutoring Center, she trains and supports student consultants, works with faculty, staff, and students across campus in support of all writing, and teaches the student consultant internship class, ENG 4160, and MUJ 3300. Whether in- or outside the classroom, Rebecca strives to cultivate and promote meaningful engagement, critical reflection, creativity, and a sense of belonging. She loves brainstorming, connecting ideas, and making writing more interesting and less intimidating.
Rebecca graduated from Methodist University with a B.A. in Writing and minor in English and earned an M.F.A. in creative writing at the University of Southern Maine.
