Bio:
Linda Lane is a Professional Academic and Career Advisor at Methodist University, bringing over a decade of post-secondary administrative and institutional knowledge to this roll. Previously, she served as Student Financial Services Specialist and Cashier, the Fine and Performing Arts Division Coordinator at the University, as well as dedicated more than ten years to teaching applied flute lessons at Methodist before coming to One Stop in January of 2024.
Another one of Mrs. Lane’s passions is music. Originally from the Atlanta area, Lane has found a home teaching flute students and performing in Fayetteville and the surrounding areas. Currently, she is a member of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra and Principal Flutist of the Carolina Philharmonic. Previously, Lane held the positions of Personnel Manager and Education Director for the Fayetteville Symphony. She completed an M.M. in Flute Performance at Louisiana State University in 2006 and a B.M. with Honors in Flute Performance from the University of South Carolina. She studied flute with Dr. Katherine Kemler, Dr. Constance Lane, Mr. Carl Hall, and Mrs. Kelly Bryant.
In addition to music and her position at Methodist, Lane loves cooking, movies, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
