Bio:

Joshua Freeman, CSP is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Health & Safety. He teaches courses involving government regulations involving Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety as well as technical courses regarding a range of skills such as measurement and sampling, auditing, and program management. Joshua comes to Methodist University with many years of industry experience as an Environmental Health and Safety professional holding positions from data policy and analytics to EHS Manager with global responsibilities. He has worked in various industries including state government, automotive manufacturing, and injection molding manufacturing. He also holds the Certified Safety Professional certification through the BCSP. Freeman earned his master’s degree in Engineering Technology – Occupational Health and Safety from Middle Tennessee State University in 2018. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Mississippi State University.
