Bio:
Elizabeth Schrecengost, Ed.D. is an Assistant Professor of Education at Methodist University. She teaches elementary education undergraduate courses including science methods, social studies methods, STREAM for educators and evaluation of educational growth. Her professional experience in the education field includes working as a teacher assistant, classroom teacher, reading tutor, professional learning specialist and student teacher supervisor. Before joining Methodist University, she was an adjunct professor at the School of Education, Gardner-Webb University.
Schrecengost holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from Gardner-Webb University, an M.Ed. in Elementary Education and Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Her areas of research expertise include Elementary Education, Virtual Learning, Latinx families, and Family Engagement in K-5.
