Teaching Philosophy:

My goal in the classroom is to offer a lively, open, and interactive environment where students can appreciate the relevancy of the subject in their lives as they master the concepts.  I strive to make my classes participatory and enjoyable, focusing on real-world applications while holding students to a high level of performance.  I have succeeded if my students finish one of my courses certain that I care about them and their education. I give each course my best effort and provide the opportunity and encouragement for each student to do the same.
