Academic Scholarships
Methodist University offers significant academic scholarships to entering students who meet the criteria in the charts below. Renewal of these scholarships is dependent on the student making satisfactory academic progress and cannot extend beyond the eighth (8th) semester of college level work.

Methodist University offers a variety of Institutional Scholarships. Specific eligibility requirements and guidelines are listed for each scholarship.
International Student Aid
Methodist University offers Presidential Scholarships to entering international students who meet the criteria in the charts below. Renewal of these scholarships is dependent on the student making satisfactory academic progress and cannot extend beyond the eighth (8th) semester of college level work.

Veteran Services
Veterans and active duty service members may be eligible for various educational benefits to help finance their education. Methodist University’s Office of Veteran Services is here to assist veterans and their dependents with any questions you may have.
Student Employment
The goal of Methodist University Student Employment is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will help build their career readiness skills for the rapidly changing workforce. In addition to the Federal Work Study program, Methodist University offers a Student Employment program that allows all full-time, main campus undergraduate students to apply for meaningful, on-campus work experiences.
National Tuition Exchange
The Tuition Exchange is a reciprocal scholarship program for children and other family member of faculty and staff employed at over 570 participating institutions. The Tuition Exchange, Inc., a non-profit association, serves higher education by making careers at college and universities more attractive. Members include public as well as private institutions, research and doctoral universities, liberal arts colleges and comprehensive institutions.
NC Independent Tuition Exchange
In an effort to improve the fringe benefits available to their employees, several North Carolina independent colleges and universities have combined to create the North Carolina Private College Tuition Exchange Program. This Program entitles certified dependents of college employees to attend school tuition-free at any of the participating colleges and universities. Dependents will be certified using the same criteria used to define tuition-free status at the “home” institution.
Non-University Awards
Non-University awards include all scholarships and grants awarded by agencies other than the Office of Financial Aid. They include National Merit or National Achievement scholarships, ROTC scholarships, tuition exchange and any scholarships awarded by churches, high schools, businesses, civic organizations, etc.
