Computer Information Technology
In the Computer Information Technology (CIT) program, applications are given more emphasis than formal properties. The student acquires a systematic body of knowledge with respect to business problems and their solutions. Emphasis is given to business information systems, network administration, service support, system administration, and Web-based systems. Students should note that, although the introductory sequence in the curriculum is programming, information technology involves much more than programming. The CIT program prepares students for work in the business arena, and students can choose to complete the CIT program with a concentration in Business Information Systems either on campus or through our online program.
