Frequently Asked Questions about the Student Experience
We anticipate welcoming a small, close-knit class of approximately 64 students. The class size ensures you’ll receive personalized attention and plenty of support from faculty and peers alike!
If approved by the Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME), our list of prerequisites would be published on our website. In the interim, we suggest taking courses that prepare you for the MCAT.
The application date would be announced pending approval from the Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME).

Unique to MUCFV, our medical students will conduct 20 hours of service learning annually, for a total of 80 hours across the four-year curriculum. You’ll have the chance to actively engage with the community, apply your medical knowledge, and tackle real-world challenges through projects that make a lasting impact.
