Methodist University wants to do everything we can to make sure you succeed. Our Academic Services staff is dedicated to providing a culture of excellence in every facet of our students’ college experience.
One Stop provides students’ academic support and academic and career advising. Located in the Davis Memorial Library, students can go to One Stop for academic services and support. It is the mission of the One Stop to provide students a centralized network for academic and career advising and academic resources.

Transfer Services

Testing
Students can get course credit by examination via CLEP exams administered at MU. Credit can also be received for some classes by taking challenge exams.

Academic Advising
Academic and Career Advisors are students’ main points of contact for questions about course schedules, progress to degree, and career advisement. All students are assigned an Academic and Career Advisor and remain with their advisor throughout their enrollment at the university.
Career Advising & Internships
Our staff provides guidance in the development of skills necessary to obtain internships, employment and career satisfaction. These skills also help with the management of life-long career strategies and success in a global and rapidly changing workforce.

Military & Veteran Services
Active-Duty Military Services
The Military & Veteran Services staff supports admissions, academic support, student services, and academic and career advising for students on active duty in the U.S. Military. Servicemembers can visit us at the Military & Veteran Center on campus or during limited hours at our office on Fort Liberty.
Veteran Services
Military & Veteran Services is here to assist veterans with any questions you may have concerning VA benefits. Our staff will help you with all of the procedures for applying for and using those benefits to help finance your education.
