Academic tutoring is available to all Methodist University students.

Where? Davis Memorial Library, Study Room B (Day); Hendricks 219 (Evening)
How? No appointments needed
Cost? None

**Due to the library renovations for the 2012-2013 school year, tutoring services will be modified.

• Quincy Malloy's office will be located in Hendricks 207-C.
• The Day tutoring location will be in the Davis Memorial Library, Study Room B, 1pm-4pm MON-THURS.
• Evening tutoring will be in Hendricks 219 from 5pm-9pm MON-THURS.
• Weekend Tutoring on Sunday from 1-4pm TBA

The Tutoring Center Mission Statement

The mission of the Methodist University Tutoring Center is to provide students with individual academic support services to strengthen their academic skills.

The Goals of the Tutoring Center are:

• to offer excellent tutoring sessions to all students who request this service, and
• to seek opportunities to facilitate student usage of tutoring services.

Tutors

Peer tutors are students at Methodist University who are upperclassmen with strong performance records in specific disciplines. All peer tutors have a 3.0 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a B in their tutoring subject area. In addition, peer tutors have been recommended to the Tutoring Center by faculty members in their area.

Please note:

Students may come to the chosen location (Library 12-4 p.m. M-F or Hendricks 207 5-9 p.m. M-F) at any time the schedule indicates that tutoring is available. No appointments are necessary. Students should bring books and applicable supplementary materials. Exam week exception: Please call ahead to confirm the tutoring schedule.
