With final exams coming up, it's normal to feel stressed. Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a pop culture phenomenon making its rounds on social media and even in Super Bowl ads. The purpose of ASMR videos like these are to calm and soothe nerves with the use of amplified sound. MU Spotlight: Michael Macias

One of the unexpected joys of life on the Methodist University campus comes from the big grand piano situated in the lobby of Berns Student Center. The everyday pool table matches and ping-pong games are punctuated with particularly sweet strains of classical masterpieces when freshman Michael Macias stops by to play. You would never suspect that Michael is visually impaired.

Not only does Methodist University senior nursing student David Onyiego manage to keep up with a tough course load, but he is also a devoted fraternity brother, a community volunteer and is a member of the school's cheerleading team. He manages it all with athleticism and finesse with the help with some impressive skateboarding skills. Come meet David and see the beautiful Methodist University campus from a new perspective.
