Third Annual Reeves School of Business Symposium & Awards Dinner Recongnizes Local Business Leaders

The Reeves School of Business (RSB) at Methodist University held the Third Annual Reeves School of Business Symposium and Awards Dinner Thursday, Nov. 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Embassy Suites in Fayetteville.

The event’s keynote speaker was Charlie Brock, serial entrepreneur and CEO of Launch Tennessee. He spoke about “Transforming Cities through Innovation and Leadership,” with advice for leaders, entrepreneurs, and university members who are looking to transform their communities.

President Ben Hancock Announces Retirement

Dr. Ben Hancock today announced that he will retire as President of Methodist University at the end of May 2018. The announcement was made via a personal email from Hancock to the campus community.

Methodist University Plans Veterans Day Events

Methodist University has several events planned during the week of Nov. 6 in recognition of the Nov. 11 Veterans Day holiday. Highlights include a wreath-laying ceremony Nov. 8 and the home football game on Nov. 11, which has been designated as a military appreciation game.
