MU to Celebrate 2017 Homecoming

Methodist University will celebrate its 2017 Homecoming and Family Weekend on Oct. 27 and 28. This is Methodist’s 53rd annual Homecoming. The celebration will include athletic events, alumni reunions, awards ceremonies, and events for families.

MU to Dedicate Gene Clayton Tennis Center Oct. 19

Methodist University is proud to announce the dedication of the newly constructed Gene Clayton Tennis Center Thursday, Oct. 19, at 5 p.m. The reception and dedication will be followed by a tennis social for interested attendees of all skill levels. This event is not open to the public, but media is invited to attend.

MU Receives Grants from Arts Council

Methodist University recently received two Project Support grants from the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County. The Council gave a $7,500 grant to the David McCune International Art Gallery to support marketing and banners for the spring’s Marc Chagall exhibit, “Chagall: The Story of Exodus.” A $2,300 grant was awarded to the Friends of Music for this year’s Guest Artist Series, which is an annual set of free elementary school workshops and evening concerts.
