President Hancock Gives State of the University Address

Methodist University celebrated its 61st year today with its Fall Opening Convocation. President Ben Hancock gave a “State of the University Address” at the event, addressing MU community members who filled Huff Concert Hall this morning. As part of his address, Hancock also presented the University Medallion to Student Health Services Director Sandy Combs, who has served Methodist University with distinction for 50 years.

MU Welcomes Freshman Class

New Student Orientation begins at Methodist University on Thursday, August 17, when freshman move-in and registration opens at 8 a.m. Orientation activities will run through Sunday, followed by the first day of classes on Monday, August 21.

MU Announces New Director of the MBA Program

Donna K. Pelham, J.D., CFE, CPA, was recently named the Master of Business Administration program director in the Reeves School of Business. She also serves as an associate professor of Accounting and Business Administration.

Pelham takes over for Dr. Pam Strickland, who was recently named the first Associate Dean of the Reeves School of Business.
