"New Horizons" Student Exhibit Opens April 28 at Methodist University

The Methodist University Department of Art announces “New Horizons,” a senior exhibition by Methodist University students Chase Counts, Jorge Rivera, and Dylan Teal. The show will hold its opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 28, in the Union-Zukowski Lobby and Gallery, where the artists will be on hand to discuss their work, along with faculty from the Department of Art. The show will run until May 5.

Methodist University Announces Spring Commencement

Methodist University will celebrate its 53rd annual Spring Commencement Ceremony Saturday, May 7, at 2 p.m. in the March F. Riddle Center on the University’s campus. There are currently 223 candidates for graduation.

The 2016 Spring Commencement Distinguished Graduate is Olorato Condrad Mbi. He was among the top students in the graduating class and was chosen for this honor by his fellow graduates. He is receiving his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and will give remarks at the Commencement Ceremony.

The Professional MBA Program at MU to Host Two Open House Sessions

Methodist University will host two open house sessions for the Professional Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program. The open house sessions will be held in Yarborough Auditorium of Clark Hall on Friday, April 29 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 14 at 10 a.m. 

Methodist University to Hold 5th Annual Undergraduate Symposium

The 5th Undergraduate Research Symposium will take place on the campus of Methodist University April 11-13. The event is free to attend, and open to the public. MU students, faculty, and staff members will be sharing their research and creativity throughout the symposium.
