Cellist Nathan Leyland began his cello studies in the public school system at the age of nine. He attended the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with Tchaikovsky Competition gold medalist Nathaniel Rosen, a former student and teaching assistant to the late Gregor Piatigorsky. Currently, he is the principal cellist of the North Carolina Opera, Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, Tar River Symphony Orchestra, and a member of The Mallarme Chamber Players. Along with these positions, Leyland is an avid chamber musician and recitalist, having performed in
venues across the U.S.

Violinist Fabián López has toured extensively through the United States, Europe and South America, gaining recognition as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras in the United States, Spain, and France such as Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, Hebert Springs Festival Orchestra, Orquesta Filarmonica de Málaga, etc. He taught at the Royal Conservatory of Music “Manuel de Falla” of Cádiz, Spain from 1999 to 2004 and has been teaching at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro since 2007.

Pianist Scott Marosek has shared his music with audiences in China, Israel, and throughout the United States, appearing at such renowned venues as Xinghai Hall, the Jerusalem Music Centre, and the Meyerson Symphony Center. As an Associate Professor at Methodist University in Fayetteville, Dr. Marosek teaches piano and music history. He holds an endowed chair position in the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra and co-directs the Cape Fear New Music Festival.
