BASEBALL DAY CAMPS
 

CAMP INFORMATION

This year we will have three separate camps. The Coach Pitch camp will give the beginning baseball player the very basics of the game. The Little Big League camp is especially designed to provide quality instruction in the fundamentals of baseball - hitting, throwing, fielding, base running, and pitching. The Hitting camp will strictly teach all phases of the swing. Each camper will get 100 plus swings, and a thorough understanding of our hitting mechanics and philosophy.

CAMP FACTS

Location:  All camps are conducted on Armstrong-Shelley Field, the home of Monarch baseball.  Armstrong-Shelley Field

                 has been the site of many Monarch victories throughout the years and has been the host site of several NCAA

                 regional tournaments.  An auxiliary practice field is also utilized during the camp.        

                Driving Directions

Cost:  Coach Pitch and Nuthin' But Hittin' camps are $45..
          Little Big League camps are $65.

Ages:  Coach Pitch is open to 5-8 year olds.
          Little Big League is open to 9-14 year olds.
          Nuthin' But Hittin' is open to players 7 and up.

Camp Director: 

• Tom Austin - Methodist University Head Baseball Coach for 29 seasons, Ten-time Conference Coach of the Year

• Kevin Allingham - Methodist University Assistant Baseball Coach, Pitching coach and head coach of developmental team

• Cory Calloway - Methodist University Student Baseball Coach, First base coach and works with the catchers

• Current Methodist players will also assist at the camps
