Cyber Crime Program

What Can I do with a Minor in Cyber Crime?

Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data indicate that jobs in cybercrime and cyber security will increase 37% from 2012 - 2022, which is more than three times the average growth expected for all occupations. In 2012 the median salary in computer occupations was $76,270. The Department of Justice Studies, Applied Forensic Science, and Cyber Crime offers a minor in Cyber Crime. Students who complete the requirements for a minor in Cyber Crime will be qualified to enter private and public sector occupations focused on preventing, investigating, and gathering physical and digital evidence of crime.
