Dr.
Gilda ("Gillie") S. Benstead (EDU) retired on October
23, 2009. Dr. Crisp presented her with a 20-year pin and thanked
her for her years of service to the University.
Pat Jones (MAT) attended the NCCTM
39th annual state conference October 30,2009 in Greensboro, NC.
Congratulations to Christopher Cronin
(PSC), who will be the presenter for the 2010
B. F. Stone Lyceum. Professor Cronin's paper is entitled
"Where's the Christian Left? The Social Gospel and the Democratic
Party". Further details regarding the Lyceum will be forthcoming.

Normal Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 10:00 pm
Saturday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Sunday 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Women's ONLY Schedule
Tuesday and Thursday 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Saturday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Facility Access
The Nimocks Fitness Center is available for all current MU students,
faculty and staff use during listed hours. All participants
MUST present current Methodist University ID card to enter and use
the Nimocks Fitness Center at anytime.
Access into the fitness center ends 30 minutes before closing.
We ask members to complete their workouts and exit the facility
by the designated closing time.
The Nimocks Fitness Center reserves the right to reduce hours
during breaks, final exams, between academic semesters, and during
the summer. The Nimocks Fitness Center may temporarily close each
semester for special events and maintenance purposes.
