Michael Hadley,
Philina Sarro, and Dana Xiao
(OIRE) attended the North Carolina Association for Institutional
Research Conference in Kitty Hawk, NC on March 14-17. Philina and
Dana presented a session entitled Efficient, Effective, and Free:
Macros. Michael participated in a panel discussion on SACS Reaffirmation.
Philina Sarro was also appointed to the Executive Board as Member-at-Large
- Private Institutions.

in the International Leadership Journal, Winter 2010, 2(2),
pp. 77-102. The International Leadership Journal (ILJ) is a peer-reviewed,
online publication devoted to leadership, including theory and research,
education and development, practice and application, and to all
organizational phenomena that may affect or be affected by leadership.
The ILJ is published by the School of Business and Management at
Thomas Edison State College. The editor of the journal is Dr. Joseph
C. Santora.
We have changed the date of this year's Awards
Day to Monday, April 12.

A CALL FOR MEMORIES AND WELL WISHES
Faculty and staff are invited to submit their memories of
Dr. and Mrs. Hendricks' tenure at Methodist College/University and/or
well wishes on Dr. Hendricks’ retirement. A memory book is being
compiled to present to them.

or drop it by the President's Office. If dropping your material
off at the office, please put it into an envelope and do not fold
the paper. The less crease lines, the better. You may use special
stationery or décor paper.
Please have your contribution turned in by Monday, April 12. Dr.
and Mrs. Hendricks will be happy to read your thoughts and good
wishes and to hold onto this special keepsake.

Facility Access
The Nimocks Fitness Center is available for all current MU students,
faculty and staff use during listed hours. All participants
MUST present current Methodist University ID card to enter and use
the Nimocks Fitness Center at anytime.
Access into the fitness center ends 30 minutes before closing.
We ask members to complete their workouts and exit the facility
by the designated closing time.
The Nimocks Fitness Center reserves the right to reduce hours
during breaks, final exams, between academic semesters, and during
the summer. The Nimocks Fitness Center may temporarily close each
semester for special events and maintenance purposes.
