In order to satisfy the NCDPI standards for Elementary Education and the general education/core requirements, Elementary Education majors must complete the following general education, major, and professional licensure courses:

Elementary Education Major: MAT 1060 Student Teacher Candidates are required to take GEO 2520; HIS 1040 HIS 3620 and choose from HIS 2010 or 2020; and PXS 3110; EDU 2460, 2600, 3100, 3560, 3570, 3410, 4190 and SWK 3500.

Professional Licensure Requirements: SPE 2550; EDU 2000, 2400, 2420, 2510, 3300, 3420, 3550, 4070, 4210 and EDU 4500.
