First Year Experience (FYE)
The First Year Experience program at Methodist University is designed to provide the tools and resources necessary for students to be successful in and out of the classroom. As you begin your academic career, the First Year Seminar Class (FYS 1100) bridges the gap between traditional in-class learning and the opportunities Methodist University offers to make you a successful student. From visiting the career services office, having an interactive class with our Student Activities Office, and discovering the academic resources offered to all students, the FYS class is a dynamic environment to begin your Methodist University Journey. Along with interactive class sessions, each FYS section has an upperclassmen peer mentor that offers firsthand experience of Methodist University. Your academic success starts here!
