unitl it be obtained, or until liberty be lost in the pursuit." The
Center for Excellence in Justice Administration (CEJA) exists to serve
those Mission: The Center for Excellence in Justice Administration (CEJA) will develop and provide non-credit development experiences for justice professionals in North Carolina and contiguous states. The CEJA will be financed through tuition charged for major courses and provide less extensive experiences at no cost to the students. Goals: Goal 1: To deliver unique and relevant leader development experiences for justice professionals. Goal 2: To deliver unique and relevant professional development experiences for justice professionals. Objectives: Conduct the West Point Leadership Program (WPLP) for justice professionals. This program is modeled on the third year Military Leadership course taken by all cadets at the United States Military Academy. Condcut Leader Terrain Walks on Revolutionary War battlefields in and near North Carolina. Terrain walks combine a review of historical battlefield events and relating those events to present day leader challenges as well as the touchstone of the foudnation and principles of American liberty. Improve the investigative abilities of justice professionals through Methodist University's unique Applied Forensic Science program and its unique relationships with cold case homicide experts.
