Bringing MU to You
Under the leadership of President Ben Hancock, Jr., MU has been on the move. He and other representatives of Methodist University will be traveling across the country to meet with alumni and share exciting new developments at the University! Attend an event near you and learn about the new strategic plan and the ongoing growth and development of the university. We'll also discuss how you can plug in and join the journey through the emerging Monarch Network, which involves career assistance, student recruitment, advisory boards, regional outreach, and other initiatives.

Every year alumni help greet freshmen students and their parents with a smile and a helping hand moving in to the residence halls! This Methodist tradition brings alumni, students, faculty, staff and members of the community together to make sure our new students and their families receive a warm Monarch welcome on the first day of their MU Journey! We begin at 8:00 a.m. and work through lunch, which is provided free to volunteers in the Green and Gold Cafe.
