Forensic research from an analytical chemistry standpoint, e.g. detecting hemoglobin and certain proteins in human bone by spectroscopic and electromechanical means; developing biosensors using enzymes as catalysts; detecting certain biomolecules like glucose electrochemically; hope to overlap biosensing and forensic projects.

Personal Interests:

Music (clarinet, piano), art, sports, forensics, being a mom, Gamecock football, chemistry, puzzles (crosswords, soduku).
