Robbie Fritz is originally from Raleigh, NC and is a 2005 graduate from the PGA Golf Management program here at MU. As an undergrad student he maintained above a 4.0 GPA and was selected as the 2004 Paul Runyan Collegiate Golf Management Scholarship Recipient. He recently graduated from the MBA program here at MU in December of 2012.
Robbie’s main passion in golf is teaching and he has been able to learn and study directly from some of the top instructors in the golf industry. Before returning to Methodist University Robbie spent two years with the Jim McLean Golf Schools in Miami, FL. The Jim McLean Golf Schools are ranked as the #1 golf school in America by US News and World Report, CNN, and Travel and Leisure Magazine. Robbie started with JMGS as an Assistant Golf Professional at the Doral Resort and Spa and then became a Certified Instructor at the JMGS at Doral. Lastly, Robbie was a Master Instructor and Operations Manager at the Jim McLean Golf Academy at Miami Beach Golf Club.
In addition to teaching in FL Robbie spent three years traveling with the John Jacobs’ Golf Schools teaching golf in Arizona, South Carolina, and New Jersey. He was the Director of Instruction for golf schools at Port Royal Golf Club in Hilton Head, SC and the Seaview Resort in Galloway, NJ. Robbie also has a big passion for teaching junior golf and has been a Lead Instructor for US Golf Camps in PA for two summers. US Golf Camps is an international junior camp with over 400 participants from 20 different countries.

To gain experience in golf operations and tournament operations, Robbie was very fortunate to spend two years working as an Assistant Golf Professional at the Legends Golf Club in Franklin, IN. During his time at The Legends Golf Club he was able to learn directly from a former President of the PGA of America, Ted Bishop.
