Fayetteville Regional Chamber (2012-13)
Students from Dr. Kim Scruton's management classes worked closely with Chamber President, Doug Peters, and Chamber staff to analyse and recommend improvements to membership building and retention strategies. Using comparative analysis from similar chambers of commerce around the country, the team made several key recommendations for functional and strategic improvements.
Fayetteville Publishing Company (Spring 2013)
Students from Prof. Dena Breece's ACC 4910 class conducted an internal controls audit of the Fayetteville Publishing Company, the publisher of the The Fayetteville Observer newspaper. Students conducted entrance and exit conferences with company staff to review the effectiveness of existing controls.
